- what is ARTrage?
it's a nice, small, FREE software that allows you to mimic
the traditional oil, watercolour, pencil and stuff without
messing around with layers, filters and all the lovely adds on we are used to
- it's very simple, few options, a bit... raw, but effective -
it's very naive, and impetuous - it's just like doin' the real thing!

now let me recommend you ~sevenofeleven - a great artist - his 2D pieces are stunningly beautiful, a wonderful example of what can be done with few colors and brushes - but an immense talent - I quite adore his work [link]

    read carefully this new version (are we sure is it new? has it been changed already, and we were not informed?) - I'm very disappointed

    I apologize for the bad quality of the image - you can read the whole thing just clicking on the old good friend, the "Submit" button - read it, but I think you'd better NOT agree

    maybe old Sharkcloud is gettin' more and more paranoid - but to me, this agreement would mean I grant dA the right to use any of my deviations, modify them, mutilate them, insert them or part of them into a totally different image... they could use my pictures to promote a sharks' fins soup,
    and I couldn't complain anymore - at least, this is how it sounds to me

    if anybody has a better vision about this topic, please leave a comment on this journal
    if anybody reading this may think this topic is relevant, please do your best to inform as much Deviants as possible

    Yikes!! I haven't submitted in awhile and can't remember what the old agreement says.... I wonder if this was said with the ones I do have submitted....... scary. Do I want to be a part of a "community" that can basically steal my work? I wouldn't mind seeing what someone with a legal background would say about this contract as well as someone in charge here at dA. I smell something fishy here and I don't like it........

    Is it okay to totally not care? I mean, I care a little bit, but hey, it's the only worthwhile artsite out there, I have an established fanbase, I've been here several years, and nothing could disappoint my biggest admirers more than me just leaving like this. I think you should stay, really. I don't see a big problem here, and if you do, you should get a petition or something.
    I don't want to lose a friend I have here because of this...

    well, I'm not leaving yet, as I'm just tryin' to make some noise about this new Submission Agreement - I'm surprised it seems everyone has just clicked "I Agree" without reading those lines - those lines are pure bullshit, to me, so I won't agree - that means I won't be allowed to upload anything more - but I'm staying
    I sense you are not worried by these new terms and conditions, and I sincerely wonder why they don't bother you - would you accept dA make use of part of your works distorting it, framing it into any kind of contest they want, and you have no rights to complain about it? 'cause this is what is stated in those lines I enlightened in the image on my journal
    I think this is a bad mess - I would ask you to think a bit more about it - I'm not asking you to leave, just give some visibility to this topic through your journal, for instance - obviously, only if you reconsider it and decide it's relevant
    but you won't ever lose me as your friend, you know that! :heart: :hug: and you can always email me at sharkcloud@myway.com !

    I was very happy and comfortable here in dA, I love this site, it's too bad they are asking us this much - I wish we could do something so to bring this topic to a wider attention, raise some debate, stir some fuss... I'm not leaving yet, but I won't upload anymore
    if you agree with me - not with dA - please post something about it on your journal - this won't affect your art, and maybe could help other Deviants not to click the "I Agree" button without reading like everyone is apparently doing right now
